THE ENGAGEMENT PROCESS

No surprises. Clear scope.

We start with a conversation, then assess whether the work fits our expertise and availability. No client receives unrestricted or unquoted services by contacting us.

1. Discuss the requirement

We establish the business problem, website goals, target visitors, required pages, content readiness, existing platform and integrations and the authorised contact.

2. Review, estimate and quote

For existing websites, we may conduct a bounded public-site review to identify potential issues; detailed repair estimates depend on access, platform and scope. Website projects are quoted against agreed deliverables, not a generic audit score.

Proposals explain the legal service provider, price and VAT treatment as applicable, inclusions, exclusions, access permissions, timeline and handover deliverables. The proposal becomes binding only through an agreed acceptance process.

3. Agree responsibilities and start

For starter projects, the written scope identifies up to three simple pages, client-supplied content and brand assets, and a proposed single consolidated revision round. Custom design, advanced integrations, extra pages and extensive content work need separate approval. Domain registrant, hosting bills, asset rights and handover are specified before acceptance.

4. Work with appropriate access

Access is arranged after customer authorisation, using the minimum permissions feasible. Never provide passwords or recovery codes in an initial email. Changes to production settings require specific agreement.

5. Handover and close

We document agreed work or findings, highlight remaining risks, and arrange removal of temporary access. Ongoing support is not implied unless separately contracted.

Care and managed subscriptions

Monthly edit allowances are ceilings, not unlimited support. Eligibility, regular checks, frequency, support hours, renewal, cancellation, ownership, portability, handling of missed payments and any transfer costs must be agreed in the individual written proposal. We do not offer a general 24/7 emergency SLA.
